We take God out of the schools and we wonder why children are shooting each other.
We take God out of government and we wonder why judges are ruling immorally.
We take God out of business and we wonder why there is so much greed.
We take God out of our history and we wonder why Christans are portrayed as violent conquerors.
We take God out of medicine and we wonder why we have millions of babies murdered.
We take God out of our homes and we wonder why we end up divorced.
We don't accept Christ as our savior and we wonder why we are so miserable.

God said to Moses, "I AM WHO I AM. This is what you are to say to the Israelites: 'I AM has sent me
to you.'"
Exodus 3:14 NIV
"I AM," said Jesus, "And you will see the Son of Man sitting at the right hand of the Mighty One and
coming on the clouds of Heaven."
Mark 14:62 NIV

What more can I say about my Lord than He willingly chose the cup so that I might be with Him
eternally.

In musical chairs there is limited space. Those that can't find a seat are removed from the game. We
also have limited space in our lives. If we fill it with the things of the world, if we watch
secular television and movies, if we listen to secular music, if we pursue a bigger home and faster
car, if our heart is on the world then we don't leave room for Christ. We can fill our heart with
Heaven or we can waste it on earthly pursuits.

Those that support the falsehood of evolution, that man was not created but instead just "happened"
by mere chance, often point to the discovery of the Coelacanth ("see-la-kanth"). This is supposedly
a missing link in the chain of evolution but IF evolution was true then how can the Coelacanth still
exist? Shouldn't it have evolved after 400 million years? The answer is simple God created us just
as the Bible tells us.

We as consumers have the control over the market. We decide what is manufactured and sold. We merely
have to buy what we want producers to make and obviously not buy what we don't want. Now this
applies to all avenues including television shows, movies, music, etc. The key comes down to us
taking responsibilty for these choices. We can't just complain about what is offered and then go
ahead and buy it.

"Does God really exist?" is this a question you have ever asked? God has given us the all the
"proof" we need. That said some times we may still question our belief. If God doesn't exist then
how did this all come into existence? Scientists will tell you something like "a big bang" but that
doesn't explain where it all came from instead it's just a push. It's just saying it came from
something else that has no explanation where IT came from.

God is all powerful but He also chooses to give us free will. Some would argue that through this
free will man miswrote the Bible. But they forget the part that God is all powerful. If He is going
to send us a love letter then do you think He would entrust it to men that would ruin it? We can
trust that the Bible is God's Word.

“Listen! A farmer went out to sow his seed. As he was scattering the seed, some fell along the path,
and the birds came and ate it up. Some fell on rocky places, where it did not have much soil. It
sprang up quickly, because the soil was shallow. But when the sun came up, the plants were scorched,
and they withered because they had no root. Other seed fell among thorns, which grew up and choked
the plants, so that they did not bear grain. Still other seed fell on good soil. It came up,
multiplying thirty, sixty, or even a hundred times.”
Mark 4:3-8 NIV

Why does God let bad things happen to us? It involves free will and sometimes that free will is
consequences from others actions but also it can be from our own actions. God loves us and because
we often times only learn not to stick our finger in the fire when we get burnt then God lets us
experience those consequences.
Monday, 7/24/06
God is not a Sunday-only God. He set aside the Sabbath as a day dedicated to Him but we are to take
Him with us through the rest of the week. Do you cheat customers, steal from your employer, lie to
friends, etc. and then go to church on Sunday and think that everything is okay? Do you really think
that is what He wants?
Tuesday, 7/25/06
As Paul says in Romans 6:1-4, we don't continue to sin because we have God's Grace. We will all
still make mistakes but we let Christ remove our shortcomings. We don't continue to live for the
world but instead we hand our lives over to God. We receive Grace through our Faith but because of
our Faith we will become a new creation. We are not saved by actions but they are a reflection of
our Faith.

He said to him, 'If they do not listen to Moses and the Prophets, they will not be convinced even if
someone rises from the dead.'
Luke 16:31 NIV
Thursday, 7/27/06
Live today as if it's your last for you don't know what tomorrow will bring. We often look to
prophecy for clues to the return of Christ (and well we should). But ultimately we should live as if
it is going to occur tomorrow for even if it doesn't our death very well could happen. So if we
have died to ourselves and been born again then the bodily death as no power over us for Christ
holds the keys to Hades and has already conquered Death.
Friday, 7/28/06
Do we have to do anything that God tells us? Only if we want to know TRUE happiness and freedom.
Monday, 7/31/06
There are those that point to "experts" for the truth. They will say "the experts tell us" and "the
experts would know better than me". But which "experts" are we listening to? God is THE expert and
I will choose to listen to Him!
